The Whole Was Full of Darkness

The song begins with "The whole world was full of darkness"

If we want to know what the writer of this new song means, then we should first understand about what is 'darkness'? In fact, there is no such thing as darkness. Darkness is simply the absence of light. Obviously the writer isn't speaking about an absence of physical light because we can see the sun shining on us every day, so we can understand that the writer is speaking from a spiritual point of view. So, then what is the light that is not shining on this spiritually dark world?

The writer of the new song continues saying "there was no light of the truth of life."

Fantastic! Now we have our answer. The light means the truth of life or, in other words, the truth about the way to receive eternal life. Therefore, we can understand the darkness to mean the absence of life. The whole world being full of darkness means the whole world had no hope for eternal life in heaven. So, based on the writer if the new song is saying there seems to be no hope for us, but the writer continues with

Then from heaven a streak of light, light of life shone on this dark world.

A streak of light, a glimmer of the hope of eternal life, appeared on this world. What was it? The writer of the new song says, 'From the ends of the earth our heaven's Mother, who is light, has come.' This is incredible! The light of eternal life came into this world to give us that light. What exactly does that mean though? Well, you see, 2000 years ago Jesus Christ told his disciples, "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Basically, it means that if we want eternal life we must hear and obey the words of Christ who is the light of life. When God comes in the flesh we must "rejoice!" because we human beings who are destined to die have the opportunity to receive eternal life.

When Jesus Christ came 2000 years ago he promised his disciples that if they ate his flesh and drank his blood that they would receive eternal life. Later, on the night of the Passover, Jesus gave the promise of eternal life saying that the Passover bread is his body and the Passover wine is his blood. At that time, the light of life shone bright throughout the known world. However, in 325 AD, at a meeting called the Council of Nicaea, a Roman emperor by the name of Constantine ruled that the Passover would no longer be kept.

As the Passover faded away, so did the light of eternal life. However, the Bible prophesied that Christ would come again with the light, or that he would come again to restore the Passover. As prophesied, Christ did appear a second time and restored the Passover, and his name is Ahnsahnghong. Christ Ahnsahnghong revealed that the reality of that eternal life was found in our spiritual Mother, who is God Almighty. God the Mother, the female image of God, came down to this earth in the flesh in order to give mortal beings her eternal life. It is because God the Mother came to earth.

Than the writer of the new song says , "From the ends of the earth our heaven's Mother, who is light, has come.

O Mother of glory and honor forevermore! Sing praise to Her! Hosanna! All you, receive the holy Mother!

From our hearts, we will give thanks and glory forevermore."

If Almighty God our Mother did not come then we would have remained in spiritual darkness, but now the whole world can rejoice in the hope for heaven!

The second verse of this new song explains this a bit more clearly...

The whole world was bound to death; it was covered with the shadow of death.

To save sinners from being hurled into the depth of eternal hell,

from heaven to the earth our holy Mother, who is love, has come.

O the love is great; Mother's love endures forever. Sing praise to Her! Hosanna!

All you, receive the holy Mother! From our hearts, we will give thanks and glory forevermore.

You see, it is the love of a mother, or rather the love of our Heavenly Mother, that has lead us to the truth of eternal life. God our Mother came down to this earth to save us because of that love. It was a sacrifice that only a mother could or would do for her children. If you happen to be a mother, then you understand exactly what I mean! And what more can any child do, but thank his or her Mother for her undying love? For this the writer of this new song says, 'Sing praise to Her! Hosanna! All you, receive the holy Mother! From our hearts, we will give thanks and glory forevermore.'
